FULL ALBUM THURTHDAY

Tonight's choice, well, where to start!

Our talent this evening started singing around 10 yrs ago when she was inspired by Elton John's 'Your Song'. Little did she know that in Oct 2019, Elton would be popping a song of her very own on Beats 1 radio and noting "Celeste is quite something else...watch out for her" - plus adding 2 of her very own singles to his personal Apple Music play list!

Our London based singer has found early success after scooping the 'Rising Star' Brit Award, winning the BBC Sound of 2020, plus landing the coveted spot providing & singing the album track ‘A Little Love’ on the John Lewis Christmas advert.

At only 16 she wrote her first song, named "Sirens" with her former band mates. This song was inspired by the death of her father whom sadly she lost to lung cancer, and was uploaded to YouTube. It was that very track that was found online by her current manager, who urged her to take professional writing classes while she completed her studies.

Our artist recalls seeing Seal at the top of the stairs once at the recording studios, clutching a sandwich in cling film and greeting her hello! She responded with 'Alright mate?' and apparently he found it really funny that she seemed so unfazed by him.” - What would you have said? We would have probably giggled weirdly.

So who is this we speak of?

Tonight we're introducing you to Celeste Waite, with her newly released album' Not Your Muse'.

Her own brand of soul sees her artfully taking the most engaging parts of mainstream pop and mixing it with a calculated portion of traditional jazz & beat-poetry like delivery with soulful vocals.

One of tonights tracks "Stop This Flame" has shot up in popularity after becoming the theme song for Sky Sports' weekend coverage of the Premier League. Our artist is an avid supporter of Arsenal F.C.

So without further waffle,
